But it’s our venue you’ll really fall in love with. Because Factory Works is a true one-off. There’s nothing quite like it. Big, bold and beautiful, this former Victorian warehouse is the height of urban chic. Part of the legendary Custard Factory, you’ll find us in the heart of Digbeth, Birmingham’s most happening neighbourhood.

Large, characterful venues so close to the city centre are notoriously hard to come by. But Factory Works has it all and more besides. Up to 300 guests can tuck in to a seated meal in the Factory Floor, with space for a large dancefloor and we can hire in a stage for further festivities.

We loved having the empty venue to put our own stamp on. The different spaces within the venue were ideal for our photos, drinks reception, and for the DIY photo booth.

Factory Works is very much part of the Digbeth story. Once the factory floor of the Birds Custard emporium, it’s now a dedicated, super- contemporary venue. With white walls, dramatic glass ceilings and toughened industrial floors providing a simple yet spectacular backdrop for your nuptials.

Our inviting industrial space is primed and ready to be filled with fun. Like a mighty blank canvas for weddings, it’s just waiting to bring your dream to life. If you’ve got a particular theme in mind — no matter how out there — we’ll help you make it happen and then probably dial it up a notch or two. Working with the very best local suppliers, we’ve previously arranged everything from bathtubs of gin to walls of doughnuts — so don’t hold back, just go for it!

If you need them, there are more spaces available next door in the Riverside Rooms. These come into their own for cloakroom storage, cake cutting, children’s entertainment, games rooms, photo galleries, mother-in-laws’ parlour... anything you can think of, so get creative.

Our catering team are on the top of their game, ready to serve up an extraordinary dining experience for you and your guests. From an elegant three-course seated wedding breakfast, to more informal canapés and nibbles, we offer a great choice of set menus to whet your appetite. Just let us know what tempts your taste buds
and whether you have any dietary requirements, and we’ll get prepping.

Once the plates have been cleared, put on your boogie shoes and get ready to dance the night away. There’s plenty of space to host live bands or DJ sets at Factory Works, so the soundtrack to your party is going to hit all the right notes.

We are licensed until midnight but can apply for an extension until 1am.

We are fully licensed for civil ceremonies in Factory Works. This is the perfect romantic-yet-stylish setting, with exposed brickwork and Crittall doors, where you can say your vows among friends and family.

Whether you want a traditional do or something more tailored, our creative, tireless wedding team will work closely with you on every detail. If you need specific cultural or ceremonial wishes, we’ll do everything we can to accommodate these.

Factory Works can host mighty receptions of up to 400 people — perfect for larger extended families or even the most popular of couples.

Maybe you’re getting married abroad and want to throw a party when you get back home. If so, ask us about evening-only events.

We have a wide range of options designed to fit all budgets with venue hire starting from as little as £5000.00.

Our range of wedding packages are based on a minimum of 100 day and evening guests with the option of increasing your guest numbers should you wish. We offer a wide range of catering options allowing you to create the perfect wedding to suit your budget
